The 5 workflows we'd automate first in any small business.
Skip the ChatGPT screenshots. These are the actual five places we look first for time savings — based on what's worked across thirty-odd small businesses.
Every small business has the same five time sinks. None of them are sexy. All of them are automatable.
1. Lead intake & routing. A form on the site shouldn't end with "we'll get back to you." It should auto-qualify, route to the right person, and pre-write the first reply.
2. Document generation. Quotes, contracts, invoices, statements of work. If a human is filling in the same Word template twice a week, that's a fifteen-minute build.
3. Inbox triage. Not auto-responses. Categorisation, summarisation, and a "this needs you in the next hour" flag.
4. Reporting & dashboards. Pull from QuickBooks / Stripe / your CRM into a single weekly digest the owner reads on Monday morning.
5. Follow-ups. The boring kind. The kind a salesperson swears they'll do but never does.
The trick isn't picking the most impressive automation. It's picking the most *repeated* one.
